Every three days or so I get an emergence of chin hairs that I have to pluck out with my fingernails. Electrologist, please?
There aren't that many that sprout up, but I didn't have to pluck anything until I turned about 24 years old. Well actually everything in the jaw/chin area went south around that time. Before then I had problems with acne but it was usually on my forehead and my cheeks. As I got older the acne problem moved down to my jaw and chin area--and on top of that I have these hairs that just exacerbate or may be the cause of the problem.
I didn't know there was a term for people who removed hair by electrolysis. They are called electrologists. Inventive, eh? I found out on salary.com that electrologists only earn about $21K a year. I don't think that's fair. With all the hairy women walking around having electrolysis done, these professionals should be making a better living.
Anyway, I need one. I think that touching my face and squeezing and plucking on chin hairs creates the acne problem and keeps me looking like I have a slight beard (even without the hairs). Not to mention the hairs that curl under and grow under the skin.
Also (OMG) if Eating my Scabs isn't weird enough, I also eat the hairs I pluck from my chin--Especially if they have a bulb at the end. You know something else that's weird? Sometimes I've plucked a chin hair and it's had a split end! Now that's sad. I need to get to an electrologist badly.
